Bay State gas prices continue to increase according to AAA.
Gas prices in Massachusetts are continuing to
rise, jumping another four cents in the past week to an average of
$2.80 for a gallon of self-serve regular.
AAA Southern New England said Monday that gas prices have now
risen nine cents in the past month and 18 cents since the start of
the year.
The cost in Massachusetts is a nickel below the national
average, but 79 cents higher than at the same time last year. AAA's
latest survey found a low of $2.69 and a high of $2.97 for
self-serve regular.
